THOMASVILLE — Miss Kitty and her feline sanctuary made their community debut earlier this year.

Miss Kitty’s Magnificent Sale, also a first, is Saturday.

The event, a fundraiser for Miss Kitty Feline Sanctuary Inc., is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the old Stone’s site on East Pine Tree Boulevard opposite Publix.

Antiques, art, tools, electronics and collectibles are some of the items that will be available.

“We’re going to have a lot of miscellaneous items. We have lamps, old furniture,” said Karen Lightfoot, sale co-chairman and Miss Kitty board member.

“We have a lot of antique dishes and glassware,” added Michelle Westberg, sale co-chairman. “We have a glass from the turn of the 20th century.”

Also for sale will be an old clock, a new printer, televisions, a sofa, books, a rocker-recliner, a glider-rocker and a multilevel cat tree.

Lightfoot said oil paintings and prints of cats will be for sale, along with end tables, rolling office chairs and a kitchen table and chairs.

“We have lots of treasures, wonderful finds,” Lightfoot said.
